The Jones Open Pairs has been confirmed for 08/08/10. It will take place at Winton Park with prizes (dependant on entries) on offer. Entry costs £5 a-pair and will be contested between a maximum of 32 pairs. Your help and support is appreciated by entering and also kindly donating a raffle prize on the day as the event will also include fundraising for Phil Jones' chosen charity. Ian Rimmer won his first tournament on Winton Park last Sunday, 11th July 2010. The event was The Memorial Trophy, a handicap competition run every year by Winton Park for its members. Ian walked away with the prize after an impressive afternoons bowling saw him beat off stiff opposition from Steve Baines, Ken Jones, Kath Flaherty and Peter Hubert in the final. Well done Ian.
